What is Sikkens
Cetol Maintenance?
Sikkens Cetol Maintenance is
a premium non-pigmented
exterior wood finish
designed for use over
previously Sikkens coated
vertical surfaces (logs and
wood siding) as a
maintenance coat. Typically
with maintenance coats of pigmented products such
as Sikkens Log and Siding or
Sikkens 2/3, the wood is
further darkened. With a one
coat application of Sikkens
Cetol Maintenance, the wood
will retain its same look
and color.

What’s the best way
to apply Sikkens Cetol
Maintenance?
Apply
a single coat of Sikkens
Cetol Maintenance over
existing coatings of Cetol
23 Plus or Cetol Log and
Siding that are in good condition and that
have been maintained
according to Sikkens
maintenance guidelines.
Application should only be
done when temperatures are
between 50 and 95 degrees
Fahrenheit.
A
liberal coat of Sikkens
Cetol Maintenance should be
applied in the direction of
the wood grain using a
long haired bristle brush.
Application goes best when

maintain a wet edge to
