WHAT IS OUTLAST DECKSEAL READY TO USE (RTU)?
Outlast DeckSeal is a ready to use, semi-transparent deck finish that has been formulated specifically for preserving the beauty of exterior decks, railings, and wood furniture. It is ideal for new construction or existing wood decks, railings, outdoor furniture that have been cleaned and prepped. Outlast is the perfect blend of resins, waterproofing agents, UV inhibitors and semi-transparent iron oxides in a base designed to stop the unsightly graying of wood. Just apply Outlast DeckSeal with a brush or deck stain applicator and your wood is protected.

HOW MUCH AREA WILL OUTLAST DECKSEAL RTU COVER?
A five gallon pail of Outlast DeckSeal RTU will cover 1000 SF of new outdoor wood with a single coat. On older dryer outdoor wood your coverage will be somewhat less.
WHAT COLORS IS OUTLAST DECKSEAL RTU AVAILABLE IN?
Outlast is available in three colors. The color samples shown below indicate Outlast applied to ACQ treated Southern Yellow Pine Decking.
HOW DO YOU APPLY OUTLAST DECKSEAL?
Outlast DeckSeal RTU is ready to apply right from the pail. Just mix thoroughly and apply.

Prepare the wood for treatment by cleaning thoroughly with X-180 Weathered Wood Restorer. Use a pressure washer set between 800 and 1200 psi to remove deposits of mold and mildew. Allow the wood to dry.

Mix Outlast DeckSeal completely before applying. Use of a mixing blade on a hand drill or similar apparatus is recommended.

Apply the Outlast DeckSeal with a brush, roller, or Deck Applicator.

Outlast DeckSeal will settle to some degree in the pail. During application stir Outlast Deck Seal regularly every 15 minutes.

Allow Outlast DeckSeal to dry overnight before walking on decks or using wood furniture.
WHAT CAUTION STATEMENTS SHOULD I BE AWARE OF?
Avoid contact with eyes as irritation may occur. FIRST AID: In case of contact, immediately flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation persists. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO MAINTAIN A DECK TREATED WITH OUTLAST DECKSEAL RTU?
Apply one saturating coat of Outlast the first year, then one coat every other year or so as needed. Atmospheric pollutants and ordinary abrasive foot traffic will leave dirt on deck surfaces. Rainwater alone does not wash such deposits away. After a consistent rain, squeegee the deck surface. (Note: On stubborn dirt areas use a mild dish detergent and water solution with a mild brushing action to remove dirt, and then rinse with water.) In the spring and fall wash your deck with X-180 Weathered Wood Restorer.
