Although WOODguard has a built in mildewcide that retards the growth of mold and mildew some houses need additional protection because of issues regarding climate and limited sun exposure. Proven to be the world's finest & most effective paint additive by the US Navy, mold and mildew just can't grow through a paint film containing M-1. NBS recent tests proved that the active ingredient in M-1 is the finest fungicide available offering 3 to 9 times more mildew protection in paint than any other additive which is far superior to its closest competitor.
