WHAT IS STACK-N-SEAL-2?

Stack-n-Seal-2 is an internal log sealant designed for use during construction of Milled and Swedish Cope log homes. The product provides an excellent internal log seal and provides excellent adhesive properties to bond both to wet and dry logs during log stacking operations. As the logs move over time, Stack-n-Seal-2 stretches to maintain the log to log seal.

HOW DO YOU APPLY STACK-N-SEAL-2?

Stack-n-Seal-2 is available in cases of 10 30 OZ tubes and in 5 Gallon Pails. The 30 OZ tubes fit in a standard large Caulking gun. When purchasing Stack and Seal -2 in a 5 gallon pail the product should be applied with a Bulk Loading Gun per the log manufacturer's construction manual for bead size and location requirements. All surfaces to be sealed should be clean and free from dirt, dust, and other foreign materials. Do not apply Stack-n-Seal-2 to logs that are covered with ice or are frozen. The ideal application temperatures are between 40 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

WHAT ARE STACK-N-SEAL-2'S LIMITATIONS?

Stack-n-Seal-2 is designed only for use as an internal sealant. The product is not recommended for use as an external, exposed sealant.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR STACK-N-SEAL-2 TO DRY?

Stack-n-Seal-2 skins over in 1-2 hours. The product cures fully in 4-8 weeks, depending on temperature and humidity levels. .

HOW DO YOU CLEAN UP STACK-N-SEAL-2?

Before Stack-n-Seal-2 dries it can easily be washed off equipment and logs with soap and warm water. After it has dried, use alcohol, as a cleaning solvent, to remove unwanted Stack-n-Seal.

HOW IS STACK-N-SEAL-2 PACKAGED?

Stack and Seal-2 is packaged in cases of 10 30 OZ Tubes as well as in D.O.T approved 5 Gallon Plastic Pails.
