What Temperature Range is the Best for WoodPlus Ultra 10 Application?
WoodPlus Ultra 10 should be applied at temperatures between 50-90° F (10-32° C).
How Do You Prepare Your Wood to Apply WoodPlus Ultra 10?
- Wood must be clean, dust free, and dry with a moisture content of <19%.
- Remove all traces of dirt, wax, grease, mold and mildew.
- Remove mill glaze on smooth lumber by sanding with 60-80 grit sand paper or by cleaning with a sodium percarbonate cleaner such as KleenStart or CPR.
Application Instructions
- WoodPlus Ultra 10 is ready to use.
- Stir WoodPlus Ultra 10 thoroughly prior to and during use.
- Do not apply WoodPlus Ultra 10 in direct sunlight or are hot to the touch.
- WoodPlus Ultra 10 can be applied with a brush, roller or a spray gun.
- Always back brush WoodPlus Ultra 10 that has been applied with an airless sprayer.
- Apply WoodPlus Ultra 10 in the direction of the grain, completing one full board at a time.
- Maintain a wet edge and saturate any open cut or cut ends of boards.
- Do not apply WoodPlus Ultra 10 in wet weather or when inclement weather is imminent.
What is the Drying Time for WoodPlus Ultra 10?
- WoodPlus Ultra 10 dries to the touch in 1 hour.
- A second Coat can be applied 2–4 hours after the first coat.
- Application equipment cleans up with warm soapy water.
